A beautiful lawn is like a calling card. The lawn requires suitable care for it to flourish. It absolutely has to be cut weekly. The lawn reacts best when no more than approximately a third to a half of the grass length is cut off when mowing. Afterwards, the blades of grass should still be four to five centimeters long. Anybody who wants to follow these recommendations, which are provided by professional gardening experts, needs a powerful lawnmower that is always ready for use. After all, mowing is supposed to be enjoyable and it should produce good results quickly.
Bosch has created an ideal solution for this: the new Rotak LI cordless mowers, the world's first lawnmowers with lithium-ion battery. These innovative tools offer many advantages compared to established lawnmowers – whether they be petrol-powered, electric or classical cordless mowers. For example, due to the more lightweight LI batteries, the cordless mowers from Bosch weigh approximately 40 percent less than the established cordless mowers with lead gel battery. With their total weight of about 14 kilograms the Rotak LI mowers are easy to handle. At the same time, these powerful and sleek mowers spare gardening enthusiasts both the unhandy cable of an electric mower, and the awkward starting and the exhaust gases of a petrol-powered mower. Unlike conventional batteries, the LI batteries have hardly any self-discharge and are always ready for use when you need them.
The transparent perspex cover makes the already shapely Rotak LI to an eye-catcher. Moreover, the cordless mowers have grass combs, which guide grass growing close to the edge into the cutting mechanism, thus making it unnecessary to trim these areas separately. All of this means that mowing with a Rotak LI is easy and fast. Now nothing can stand in the way of the pure enjoyment provided by a perfectly neat lawn.
The new Rotak 34 LI is the first cordless mower with an energy saving technology. Its “Efficient Energy Management” (EEM) increases the battery runtime by 10 to 20 percent, depending on the grass conditions and the way in which the mower is used.
The Rotak cordless mowers from Bosch come in three versions: with cutting widths of 34, 37 and 43 centimeters.
