What is special about the new Rotak mowers from Bosch is that they can perfectly mow the lawn along walls or adjoining flower beds right up to the edge. This is thanks to the innovative grass combs. Wider than the front wheels, they catch grass growing close to the edge and guide it into the cutting mechanism. In many cases, this saves the gardener having to rework with a grass trimmer or grass shears.
Equipped with a powerful 1700-Watt motor and PowerDrive, the Rotak 43 also cuts long, thick and damp grass: it achieves a high torque of 23 Newtonmeters thanks to the reduction gear unit, which reduces the motor speed from 20,000 revolutions per minute to a cutter speed of 3,300 revolutions per minute. If the cutter strikes the root of a tree or a stone, the sliding clutch absorbs the impact to protect the motor.
With just 13.5 kilograms, the Rotak 43 is the most lightweight lawnmower in its class. It is easy to maneuver, even in curves and corners. The practical carrying handle integrated into the housing makes it easier to transport the tool, for example on steps. Thanks to the large 50-liter grass box, you do not need to empty the grass so often.
